In the first two months of this year, Serbia achieved a budget surplus of around 62.5 million euros, the Minister of Finance stated today.
– So, we have the money to pay and cover the third package of assistance to the economy and citizens – the ministry said.
They point out that the Serbian economy is doing well and that the state, despite the corona, has managed to achieve a budget surplus.
– Serbia has avoided the worst scenarios that you see in some other countries. On the other hand, mass vaccination, according to which we are the first or second in Europe, gives its results, and I expect and call on all citizens to be vaccinated – it is stated.
They add that this is the only way to win the corona and that Serbia will be able to fully open the economy and return to normal life as soon as possible, Srbija Danas reports.
