HIP-Petrohemija is entering the process of starting production in Serbia

HIP-Petrohemija announced that after the start of the Energy and Wastewater Factory on Thursday and Friday, it will start production in the Ethylene, High Density Polyethylene (PEVG) and Low Density Polyethylene (PENG) factories, it was announced today.

Production at HIP-Petrohemija was stopped during overhaul activities.

The most significant realized investment activities during the downtime were the implementation of the SCADA system in Elektrosnabdevanje and the general overhaul of the extruders in the PENG factory.

During the standstill, overhaul activities were carried out on process equipment and security systems in order to ensure the smooth operation of petrochemical plants in the coming period.

Thanks to the good organization and great engagement of employees and contractors, all investment and repair activities in Petrohemija were successfully performed, it is stated in the announcement.

It is added that all activities related to the start of the production process in HIP-Petrohemija will be realized in compliance with the prescribed safety measures and in accordance with the applicable procedures of the company, in order to protect the working and living environment.

During the start of production, increased noise and increased flame on the torch can be expected, which represent the basic safety system of the factory during the start of the work process and during the process itself, the company states and adds that all competent institutions have been notified about the factory start, RTV reports.
