How much more expensive have banking services become in Serbia?

Last year, banks in Serbia announced numerous price increases for services.
And so while the state provides aid packages to citizens and the economy, bankers have found a way to make extra money.
One of our readers received a notification from the bank about the changed fee tariffs. As he says, almost all items have become more expensive.
– They stated everything tactfully, the service of keeping a payment account – the one with basic services – increased in price by 20 cents, so instead of 1.6 cents it costs 1.80 cents. It’s not as scary as the cost of services for other types of accounts. For some bills, for example, where the service was paid 3.5 euros, now costs almost 7 euros – which is an increase of almost 100 percent – a disappointed reader tells us.
However, account maintenance has not only become more expensive.
– 50 cents were paid for the payment account statement, according to the new tariff, it will be 1 euros – so, this year too, there was a double price increase. The prices are higher for many other items as well – our interlocutor adds, emphasizing that the bank mentioned in the notification that whoever does not respond will be considered to have accepted the new prices.
As it was written earlier, for withdrawing money from the ATM of a bank that is not your home, a few months ago it was announced that you would pay 1.8 euros instead of the previous 1.3 euros.
Let us remind you, as Dusan Uzelac, the founder of the Kamatica portal, recently told Prva TV, price changes in the bank’s price list are a regular thing.
– It often happens and it rarely happens that something gets cheaper. Banks make price increases most often in those transactions, at the level of paying bills, withdrawals from ATMs, these are all those small services that are related to the package of current account services – Uzelac pointed out, Vesti Online reports.
