The first new tractors to come out of the rebuilt IMT factory in northeastern Serbia, have been unveiled at the 86th International Agriculture Fair in Novi Sad.

The IMT’s 539, 549, 565 and 577 models are on display at this year’s fair.

“The IMT models we have presented at the Fair were assembled at the Jarkovac plant. Assembly of two more models – the IMT 565 and the IMT 577 – will begin by the end of the year. A new hybrid assembly line for tractors will start operating in Jarkovac early next year,” said Kamal Ahuja, deputy managing director at TAFE, the Indian company that has acquired the Serbian tractor brand.
