Industrial production in the first six months increased by 1.7 percent

Industrial production in Serbia in June this year was 0.5 percent higher than in June 2022, and compared to the average of the entire last year, it was 2.9 percent higher, the Republic Statistical Office announced today.

Industrial production in the first six months of this year compared to the same period last year was higher by 1.7 percent.

Observed by sector, in June compared to the same month in 2022, a growth of 12.7 percent was recorded in the supply of electricity and gas, in the processing industry the level remained the same, while production in mining suffered a decline of 13.4 percent.

The biggest influence on the growth of industrial production in June 2023, compared to June 2022, was the production of electricity, basic metals, computers, electronic and optical products, then basic pharmaceutical products and preparations, and motor vehicles and trailers.
