Iran, Serbia Planning to Broaden Trade, Tourism Ties

Iranian and Serbian officials called for the removal of possible barriers to the development of Tehran-Belgrade ties, and vowed to do their best to provide proper facilities for the two countries’ businessmen and tourists.

Speaking in a meeting with the Iran’s Ambassador to Belgrade Majid Fahimpour on Monday, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunication Rasim Ljajic called for promotion of economic cooperation in agriculture, food products, infra-structures, automobile and tourism.

The two sides agreed on signing cooperation deals in the field of tourism too.

The two officials also underlined the necessity for both sides to extended full support for businessmen aimed at exchanging information among them.

Iran and Serbia have in recent years made great efforts to further develop their bilateral relations and mutual cooperation in all fields.
