Italian companies Geoks and Ditra got free transfer of construction land into their property in the free industrial zone Bunusevac on Vranje’s periphery, with the decision of City Government.

-As soon as the decision is available to the public, making the contract that parliament representatives will adopt will follow. Then, the whole document is being sent to approvals from Government and Direction for the Property and everything should be finished until the beginning of June this year- Boban Stankovic, Deputy Mayor in charge of agriculture, explained for Danas. He stresses that the first incomes for Vranje can be expected in five years’ period. Director of Free Industrial Zone in Vranje, Ivan Stojkovic, states that investors that construct objects in this zone will be released from custom taxes for import of machines and materials, as well as from VAT expenses on the energy use. There are also subsidies of local government.

-Zone in Vranje spreads on 116 ha and it gives perspective possibilities for Vranje to be regional industrial center for foreign but also domestic investors and we have conversations in these directions- Stojkovic pointed.
