The Ministry of Finance and Economy today stated that it has made a payment of RSD 320 million to the account of the National Corporation for Housing Loan Insurance (NKOSK) for citizens’ subsidised housing loans.
The NKOSK has informed the banks that as of tomorrow, 10 August, they can start scheduling payments of individual loans in line with their previous obligations.

On 7 August the Serbian government adopted changes to the Decree on the measures of support to the construction industry through long-term housing loan assistance in 2012 which enabled the continuation of subsidies for housing loans and the realisation of contracts which citizens had signed with their banks, reads the statement.
