The PM of Serbia’s Vojvodina province Igor Mirovic on Tuesday opened a two-day international conference “SEE ENERGY – Connect & Supply 2016”, which will discuss ways of developing and ensuring support for working with biomass in production of heating energy.
Mirovic stressed that, despite examples of good practice, the provincial government will work much more in the field of utilising the potentials of renewable energy sources.
The conference, whose aim is to connect domestic and international firms in the sector of renewable energy sources, brought together 200 participants from 100 firms from Serbia, Austria, BIH, Croatia, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Romania and Slovakia, along with representatives of state and regional authorities, chambers of commerce, associations, investment and commercial banks.
