There is still much room for improvement in the volume of trade and overall economic and business cooperation between Serbia and Norway, Norwegian Ambassador to Serbia Arne Sannes Bjornstad has told Tanjug.
For that reason, the newly-established Norwegian-Serbian Business Forum will be officially launched with an October 13 conference at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (PKS), Bjornstad announced.
The Forum was established at the initiative of UBQ, one of the largest Norwegian companies in Serbia, which felt the need for a specific network that would connect Norwegian and Serbian companies operating in Serbia and Norway, said Bjornstad, one of the initiators of the forum.
Some Serbian companies are already exporting to Norway – mostly as suppliers to Norwegian companies – but there also possibilities for food exports, Bjornstad said.
