The French president and prime minister support Serbia on its EU course and in internal reforms, PM Aleksandar Vučić was told in Paris by French Economy Minister Arnaud Montbourg. He proposed concrete cooperation between the two countries’ economy ministries. PM Vučić informed him of reforms and new laws Serbia is planning to adopt by the end of summer. Vučić asked for France’s support in the realization of infrastructure projects, especially the underground railways. He thanked France for its participation in the preparations of a donors’s conference for helping Serbia after the floods and invited Montbourg to visit Belgrade. Vučić also attended a dinner at the invitation of the chair of the French Parliament’s Foreign Policy Committee, Elisabeth Guigou, with whom he discussed Serbia’s EU path and relations in the region.
