Positive financial result of Srbijagas in the first quarter

Srbijagas achieved a positive financial result in the first quarter and continued the trend of positive business, the Supervisory Board of this state-owned company assessed.
The information after the meeting of the Supervisory Board held on May 21, at which the financial report and the report on the implementation of business programs for the first quarter were adopted, states that Srbijagas in this period, providing activities of general interest, continued the policy of security and continuity in supplying consumers.
It is added that the period was marked by intensive activities on the construction of the main gas pipeline, ie compressor and measuring stations on the route of the gas pipeline through Serbia.
Srbijagas continues to rationalize operating costs, especially respecting the instructions of the Ministry of Finance on reducing operating expenses by 20 percent from April this year, Nova reports.
