Arrival of representatives of Japanese giant Mitsui and other large investors and prominent public figures

Preparations for Sarajevo Business Forum 2011 are being carried out according to the previously set plan. This year, the Forum has a regional character and large economy and government delegations have already announced their arrival. Rejep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish Prime Minister, Dr. Ahmet Davutoglu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, have among the first confirmed their presence in the forthcoming SBF. The Union of Chambers of Commerce and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) will also be present at the Forum and represented by Rifat Hisarciklioglu, who is also the Vice Chairman of EuroChambers, Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The arrival of Kuwaiti Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister, Dr. Muhammad Al-Sabah has already been confirmed.

Lorraine Hariton, Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs of State Department and John P. Donough, Maryland Secretary of State, have both confirmed their presence in SBF2011 on the behalf of the government of U.S.A.

Dr. Mirko Cvetkovic, Prime Minister of Republic of Serbia has confirmed his arrival in the Forum and attendance of Dr. Ivo Josipovic, the President of Croatia is also expected. Eric Besson, French Minister of Industry, Energy and the Digital Economy is also expected to attend Sarajevo Business Forum 2011.

Drago Matic, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Tokyo, has informed the organizers that a notable Japanese delegation headed by Yashuhiro Isak, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan will be present on SBF.

The leaders of Japanese business giant Mitsui which deals with investing in seeking and mining of iron ore and minerals; as well as in the final production of iron products, will be present at the Forum. Mitsui also owns an Automotive Industry, many sea-ports and airports, Chemical Industry, Food Industry, Information Technology and Finance.

Dato Ali Rustam, Prime Minister of Malacca, announced that he will attend Sarajevo Business Forum, along with twenty eight investors from Malaysia.

The arrival of Sheikh Saleh Kamel, the President of Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a great investor and the owner of Al Baraka Group, one of the largest banks in the Gulf region, has officially been confirmed. Sheikh Saleh Kamel is one of Forbes 200 Richest Persons in the World. Leaders of Saudi Fund for Development will attend Sarajevo Business Forum along with Sheikh Kamel.

Governmental and Business delegation of Chinese province Ningxia, including leading investors, representatives of investment departments of this province, representatives of many banks and other financial institutions have confirmed their arrival in Sarajevo Business Forum. This is the first time that a delegation from the Peoples Republic of China in this composition visits Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Leaders of Huanghea and Shizishana banks, Head of Chamber of Commerce of Jordan, Head of Chamber of Commerce of Qatar, Mohammed Bin Johan Al-Mohammed and the representative of Malaysia Fund Khazanah Nasional have all confirmed attendance in Sarajevo Business Forum.

On behalf of Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) the Secretary-General of OIC, Ekmeldin Ihsanoglu will be present at the Forum. The attendance of Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Al-Sabah has also been expected.

Muhammad Al Qubaisi, President of Finance House Fund from Abu Dhabi has also confirmed his arrival, while Dr. Mohammad Abdul Haq will represent Rozette Merhant Bank from Great Britain in the Forum.
