“Panonka” sold for 200,000 euros

Privatization Agency signed on July, 9th, a contract with the company “Kinđa Agrar” from Kikinda on the sale of the food industry “Panonka” from Sombor at a cost of € 200,000.

The buyer assumed an obligation to invest in “Panonka” 4.5 million USD over the next three years, according to a statement of the Agency.

Tender for sale of 71.6% of “Panonka” capital was announced in March this year, and the offer was submitted only by “Kinđa Agrar”. Tender documents were also purchased by the company “Delta Agrar”, but it dropped out from sending the binding offer.

Panonka employs 118 workers and has the capacity for production and processing of meat and processing of fruits and vegetables. These last few years, the capacity hasn’t been used, but it has been given for lease, and one of the major tenants is “Kinđa Agrar”.

The property of “Panonka” is also the building of about 50,000 square meters which is located on a plot larger than 33 hectares.
