RSD 4.35 billion from Budget Fund for Water Management in Serbia

The Government of Serbia has adopted the Program of Water Management for 2020, setting aside RSD 4.35 billion from the Budget Fund for Water Management, it was announced in the Official Gazette.
The program says that four billion is planned for the financing of new jobs in this sector, and the rest for obligations and jobs from 2019.
Of the RSD 771 million set aside for the development and use of water systems, RSD 479.7 million is planned for the construction of the Arilje Dam (Svrackovo profile), whereas RSD 20.6 million is meant for the Stubo-Rovni Dam near Valjevo.
A total of RSD 3.27 billion is set aside for the regulation of waterways and protection against the harmful effects of waters.
RSD 1.45 billion is meant for the regulation of waterways, structures for protection against floods, landslides and torrents and the maintenance of waterways, whereas RSD 1.35 billion is meant for regular maintenance.
An amount of RSD 246.3 million is set aside for planning activities and international cooperation, whereas a total of RSD 56.4 million is meant for protection of waters from pollution.
