Serbia and Israel are on the threshold of significant improvement of economic relations

The Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Tatjana Matic, paid a two-day official visit to the State of Israel.
On that occasion, Matic met with Israeli Foreign Minister Jair Lapid, with whom she discussed the development of trade relations between Serbia and Israel.
– We have once again confirmed good bilateral relations and jointly concluded that there is a huge potential for accelerated development of political and trade relations between our two countries. Special mention was made of the possibility of signing the Free Trade Agreement, as well as the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Tourism – said Matic, according to a statement from the Ministry.
The Minister also had a meeting with the Head of Trade Policy of Israel and the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, Ohad Cohen, and on that occasion they discussed the improvement of bilateral economic cooperation, investments in telecommunication infrastructure, as well as cooperation in tourism, services and information technologies.
In Israel, Matic also talked with representatives of one of the leading Israeli companies in the field of cyber security, Cognyte Software, about the possibilities of cooperation on future projects, eKapija reports.
