Serbia is the only country in Europe that has signed Free Trade Agreements with China, the Eurasian zone, and Turkey, as well as a Stabilization and Association Agreement with the European Union, along with preferential arrangements with the United States, Australia, and Japan. Therefore, it is the most attractive country for attracting foreign companies and investments, stated Minister Tomislav Momirović during his address at the ministerial conference of the World Trade Organization in Abu Dhabi.

“Our main goal is for the average salary to be 1,400 euros, the average pension to be 650 euros by the year 2027, and to continue with balanced regional development. We can achieve this only if we continue with responsible and courageous decisions that will contribute to the improvement of citizens’ living standards and the attractiveness of our country in the world. Our aim is to have a record level of foreign investments in 2024, exceeding 4.5 billion euros, and we will strive for that figure to be higher than 5 billion,” said Minister Momirović.

Momirović, addressing the ministerial conference of the World Trade Organization, emphasized that for the sake of its citizens, Serbia must avoid the recession affecting Western Europe and continue its dynamic economic development.
