The Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, in partnership with the French region Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, is set to organize a business forum in Lyon, France, early next year. This initiative aims to enhance cooperation between Serbia and one of France’s most prominent industrial regions. The forum will focus on key sectors including industry, agriculture, mechanization and green energy, as agreed upon during a meeting between the Serbian delegation and representatives from Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes.

The Serbian delegation, which included discussions with regional Vice President Philippe Munier and Bruno Schiaverini, the director for international cooperation, also engaged with the Chamber of Commerce of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the Business France association, and the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (CPME), as well as the Public Investment Bank (BPI).

During their visit to France, the delegation further explored opportunities for collaboration in innovative technologies and artificial intelligence with the French business community. They met with representatives from AI Hub France, the AI Festival in Cannes, and French Tech. Ivana Adamović, advisor to the president of PKS, noted, “At the initiative of the Embassy of Serbia in France, alongside State Secretary Damjan Jović and Aleksandar Protić, President of the Tesla Association, we discussed crucial steps to enhance the presence of Serbian AI tech companies in the French market. Our discussions focused on networking and joint initiatives aimed at better integrating our innovative firms and experts into the French technological ecosystem, particularly regarding diaspora projects and support in identifying collaboration opportunities with French companies.”
