He pointed out that affirmation of regional cooperation and good neighbourly relations remain key priorities for Serbia, and added that active involvement of Italy in the framework of the Central European Initiative and the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative is of great importance for Serbia.

The Prime Minister said that a large number of companies from the Veneto region are already present in Serbia, noting that our market is becoming more and more interesting and that he expects more investors from Italy.

Two years ago Serbia started with difficult and painful reforms. Today, our economic situation is very good. We even exceeded the forecast of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Prime Minister said.

Serbia offers full political stability and the general duty-free market, such as the markets of Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, he said and added that no other country in Europe can offer that.
