A few days ago, Minister of Finance SiniĊĦa Mali repeated the promise that the average salary will be 900 euros and a pension of 400 euros by 2025, while economists estimate that such promises from the previously announced program Serbia 2025 are only now impossible in the crisis.
Danas writes that the optimism of Minister Mali not only adds to 2025, but is also valid in the short term, since “he wants there to be no fall in GDP this year at all.”
Economist Mladjen Kovacevic says that he does not believe that the authorities are completely convinced of what they are saying, but that it serves more for the psychological upliftment of the population.
Economist Ljubomir Madzar believes that the Serbia 2025 program was not feasible even before the crisis caused by the pandemic, and especially after, Nova Ekonomija reports.
