A summit that would gather over 230 representatives of the congress industry from the region will be organized in Belgrade on Friday, Tourist Organization of Serbia (Tos) announced on Tuesday.
Business and congress tourists are over 30 percent of overall number of tourists in Serbia, while business tourists were making consumption of more than 70 percent of the total turnover in Belgrade-based hotels, Tos stated.
According to the survey done by International Congress and Convention Association, Belgrade was at the top of the list by held congresses and conferences in the region, while Serbia was ranked 47th.
