Serbia’s Minister of Finance and Economy Mladjan Dinkic called on the Serbian citizens whose property in the country and abroad is worth more than RSD 35 million to declare all their income and property to the Tax Administration no later than 31 March 2013. Speaking at a press conference at the Serbian government, Dinkic announced the beginning of the cross checking of property and income, and specified that the time for filing tax returns will be from 15 January to 31 March 2013, when the control will begin.

He explained that the aim of the Ministry of Finance and Economy is to impose order in this area in this way, but also to enable the state to tax property that has not been declared so far.
