Sabac Dairy will build a factory in the Russian Federation.
As previously announced, it will produce soft cheese and yogurts from the highest quality Russian milk according to the IFS standard for the Russian and foreign markets.
“The demanding Russian market pays great attention to the quality and origin of food products and consistently implements regulations to guarantee safety and quality to its consumers, and the fact that Sabac Dairy has successfully met such standards for 10 years speaks in favor of what we create locally and place not only here, but also globally,” says Maja Badjin Georgijevic, corporate communications manager at Sabac dairy.
She adds that during the previous decade of developing their business, establishing valuable and strong partnerships with some of the largest distributors, retail chains and milk producers, they came to the conclusion that opening a factory is the next logical step and something that can bring them a sustainable future in the Russian market.
“Construction and technical projects have been completed, and we will soon enter the procedure of submitting requests for construction permits, because according to the current plan, the construction of the factory in the Moscow region should start next year,” she states.
The plan, she claims, is for the factory to produce white soft cheese “Srpska brinza” (“Mediteraneo” in our country), with which they already have a share of as much as 25% in this category of dairy products on the Russian market.
“Also, yogurts will be produced, as well as cheese spreads known to the Serbian market as the brand leaders ‘Sirko’ and ‘A la Kajmak’. The new factory will combine existing production processes, without preservatives and additives, and according to the highest world IFS standards, which will certainly contribute to strengthening the position and loyalty of consumers, from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok,” said our interlocutor.
In her opinion, the confirmation of the success so far is reflected in the fact that the range of Dairy Sabac in Russia, for the third year in a row, received the Roskontrol (polar bear) brand for top quality natural milk products, as well as their constant investments and innovations.
“Thanks to this, the monitoring of products in the complete chain has been improved, from production to placement on shelves in stores throughout the Russian Federation,” concluded Maja Badjin Georgijevic, B92 reports.
