Serbia’s GDP growth in the first quarter of 2021 was 1.2 percent

The real growth of the gross domestic product (GDP) of Serbia in the first quarter of this year, compared to the same period in 2020, amounted to 1.2 percent, the Republic Bureau of Statistics announced today.

The budget of Serbia for 2021 estimates the total annual GDP growth of six percent.

In 2020, the decline in Serbia’s GDP was 1.1 percent.

It should be reminded that the public debt of Serbia at the end of March this year amounted to 28.1 billion euros, which was 55.7 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP), the Ministry of Finance announced today, Danas reports.
