Serbia’s real net wage growth speeds up in September

Serbia’s average net wage rose by a real 5.4% year-on-year in September, after edging up 0.3% a month earlier, statistics office data showed on Tuesday.

On a monthly basis, the net average wage was 3.4% up in real terms in September, after falling 3% the month before.

In nominal terms, the average net wage was 46,558 dinars ($410/378 euro) last month, showing a 6% increase on the year and a 2.8% growth on the month.

Serbia’s average gross wage stood 64,150 dinars last month, up by a nominal 6% on the year and 2.7% on the month.

In real terms, it increased 5.4% on the year and 3.3% on the year.
