The company Tigar Tires plans to invest 170 million euros in expanding its production plants in Pirot and employ another 700 workers, while the German BOSCH will invest 71 million euros and open 620 new working places in Pecinci, stated Minister of Finance and economy Mladjan Dinkic.
After separate talks with representatives of those two companies, Dinkic said that the French car tire manufacturer Michelin, which bought the Tigar plant in Pirot in 2005, plans to double the production aimed at exports. BOSCH, on the other hand, has plans to build a new factory in the municipality of Pecinci, manufacturing the wiper systems for automobiles.
The employment opportunity for 25 engineers has been opened already, and they will be sent to Germany for training, and once the plant in Pecinci is completed, it will employ 620 workers, emphasized Dinkic.
