Once completed, this project will provide a telecommunication infrastructure with a greater capacity and higher data transfer speed, as well as an optical network on the main routes in Serbia, which will replace the access network in mobile telephony, with the aim of making access to broadband Internet easier and quicker for most citizens.

The whole system is expected to be finished and put in operation in the second quarter of 2011.
