Telenor Serbia announced that it achieved speeds of 1 Gbps in tests of pre-5G equipment. The operator said it’s preparing for the next generation of mobile technology, which is expected to reach the market in 2020. Telenor’s 4G network now covers all cities of over 10,000 inhabitants and in March this year the company upgraded the network in the Belgrade area to LTE Advanced.
