The GDP growth rate in Serbia will be seven percent by the end of the year

The Minister of Finance, Sinisa Mali, stated that the growth rate of the gross domestic product (GDP) in the first six months of this year was 7.6 percent, and that it is expected to be seven percent by the end of the year.
At the conference Investment Potentials of the Republic of Srpska in the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (SCC), Mali stated that the value of Serbia’s GDP is expected to be 52 billion euros by the end of 2021.
“The macroeconomic situation is completely stable, we have money in the budget, and at the moment we have 2.1 billion euros and we are completely liquid,” Mali pointed out.
According to him, Serbia has development potentials, and after years of difficult economic reforms, it has become the main driver of development of the entire region, Nova reports.
