The Government of Serbia passed the Decree on assistance to the tourist economy and the decision on assistance to pensioners

The Government of Serbia announced today that it has passed a Decree which allocated 16.5 million euros from the budget as a measure of support for the survival of the tourist and catering economy.
“At today’s session, the Government of Serbia adopted the Decree on determining the Program of scheduling and using subsidies to support the work of the catering and tourist economy due to business difficulties caused by the epidemic of Covid 19 disease,” the statement reads.
It is added that these funds will be used to pay another minimum wage for employees in the catering, hotel, travel and car rental agencies in the next ten days.
The members of the government adopted the decision to pay a one-time aid to pensioners in the amount of 45 euros in the next two weeks.
More than 1.7 million pensioners will receive this help from the state, for which 71.6 million euros have been provided, Politika reports.
