Today, the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Zorana Mihajlovic, chaired the first meeting of the interdepartmental Working Group for Coordination, Monitoring and Support of the Realization of the Moravian Corridor Construction Project, at which the procedure for financing that project was discussed.
“The construction of the Moravian Corridor from Pojat to Preljina, 112 kilometers long, is a strategically important project for Serbia and it is important that all institutions give their contribution to create conditions for the most efficient realization of the project,” Mihajlovic pointed out.
Our goal is for Krusevac to be connected to Corridor 10 by highway in two years, for Kraljevo and Cacak to be connected by highway in less than three years, and for the complete project to be completed in four years, she emphasized and the Ministry announced.
The main topics of the first meeting of the working group were the procedures for securing project financing, more efficient procedures for obtaining materials for highway construction, then the continuation of project-technical documentation, including updating the study on environmental impact assessment, as well as relocation of gas and electricity infrastructure on the route of the future corridor, Danas reports.
