The Office for IT and eGovernment announced the Open Data Week

The Office for IT and eGovernment announced today that from March 21 to 25, on the occasion of the International Open Data Day, it will organize “Open Data Week” for the third time in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

The goal of the action is to draw attention to the importance and potential of open data, and it will include seven events in five cities in Serbia – Belgrade, Pancevo, Kragujevac, Valjevo and Lazarevac, it is not stated in the announcement.

In cooperation with the Association of Students with Disabilities and numerous media houses, the Association “Green Peace” will hold a two-day interactive event on March 22 and 23 in Kragujevac, where the importance of open data for improving the quality of life of people with disabilities will be demonstrated.

As stated, after the success achieved by Bor in the field of urban mobility, the participants of the event will, with the mentorship of the organizers and on the basis of open data, map problems related to accessibility of facilities in their city and offer inclusive solutions, Beta writes.
