Turnover in industry in August 2023 is 2.5 percent lower than in the same month last year, the Republic’s Statistical Office announced.
The turnover in the industry compared to the average in 2022 is lower by 2.2 percent, reports Tanjug.
Observed by sector, in August 2023, compared to August 2022, the Mining sector recorded a 13.2 percent increase in turnover in the industry, and a 3.1 percent decrease in the Manufacturing industry sector, according to the Bureau of Statistics.
Observed by markets, in August 2023, compared to the same month last year, turnover in industry on the domestic market recorded a decrease of 5.4 percent, and on the foreign market a growth of 2 percent.
