Head of Serbia’s National Employment Service Zoran Martinovic says EC’s unemployment rate prediction is “realistic.”
An even lower unemployment rate may be expected, he noted, according to Tanjug.
Martinovic was commenting on the European Commission’s Winter Economic Forecast which predicts Serbia’s unemployment rate to drop from 16.1 pct to 14.3 pct in 2017.

“Those are realistic forecasts because they mirror the current trend in the labour market and, considering that the 2016 Q3 employment rate was at 13.8 pct, we are already within what the European Commission has predicted for Serbia for 2017,” Martinovic told Tanjug.
