Vip Mobile has modernised its 2G and 3G networks across Serbia at more than 550 sites in 21 towns. It also built more than 350 new 2G and 3G base stations along the main traffic routes and in the smaller towns. Improved network equipment now supports 4G. The 3G HSPA+ network currently covers 82 percent of the Serbian population. According to CEO Dejan Turk, Vip Mobile has invested almost EUR 827 million into the operations and plans to invest up to EUR 27 million in the network next year, by modernising its equipment at more than 800 sites and constructing more than 450 base stations for all technologies.
