The number of Czech tourists who have visited Belgrade rose only 3 to 4 pct in eight months, which is why the Tourism Organization of Belgrade presented the potential of the Serbian capital to this market for the first time in ten years.

TOB Director Miodrag Popovic told Tanjug that, although Belgrade is rapidly growing as a tourist destination, no one is satisfied with the increase in the number of Czech visitors.

Speaking about upcoming plans, Popovic said resources have been set aside to invite citizens of Prague and the whole region through a billboard campaign to visit Belgrade for the New Year’s Eve celebrations.
