The director of Srbijagas, Dusan Bajatovic, stated that the complete gasification of Belgrade will be completed by the middle of 2022, and that this will reduce the use of fuel oil.
“At the moment, we are working on Zemun and Grocka, Rakovica is coming to an end,” Bajatovic said for Pink TV, adding that there may be only a few problems with the municipality of Palilula, and that it may be a little late.
He said that the east of Serbia should also be gasified.
“The homework we received from the top of the state to start the accelerated gasification of Serbia,” said Bajatovic.
He emphasized the importance of opening the “Balkan Stream” and added that Serbia is counting on the completion of the North Stream 2.
“We got one serious direction. For now, only Russian gas will go from there,” said Bajatovic and added that work will be done on the expansion of the Banat Palace, N1 reports.
