Belt and Road a development potential for Serbia
, NewsThe Belt and Road concept is a great development potential for Serbia, in particular in terms of infrastructure and boosting investment and overall trade, Serbian FM Ivica Dacic said in Beijing Thursday.
We have an opportunity to evolve into a major regional trade hub on the Belt and Road map in this part of Europe, Dacic told a China-CEEC symposium of think-tanks at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
Serbia has a policy of attracting investors, a trained workforce and favourable trade regimes with many countries, to which it can export with import duty facilities and other facilities, he said.
Serbia is a pillar of regional stability and our citizens have chosen the European path, adopting reforms as the only way to make the economy competitive and reach the European living standards, Dacic said, adding that Serbia was a credible partner.
