After Belgrade, Kragujevac and Cacak, the British software company Endava opened its fourth development center in Novi Sad, it is stated in the announcement.
Currently, several jobs have been created for each of the 20 different positions, both in the capital of Vojvodina and in other locations across the country.
Employment growth continued during the pandemic, hence the need to expand business to new locations in the country, but also in the region.
“We have been operating in Serbia for six years and during that time we have been convinced of the quality of staff and the importance of investing in experts in this country. This is the fourth location we are opening and that does not mean we will stop here,” said Remi Savu, General Manager of Endava in Serbia.
He stated that in the nine months since the purchase of domestic Comtrade Digital Services and Croatian Five, Endava has significantly increased its team of nearly 7,500 employees worldwide, and that it has expanded its business to as many as 12 locations in Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Northern Macedonia.
The new development center will provide many opportunities for local engineers, as it will employ developers and IT experts of all profiles.
“We work with clients in the fields of finance, insurance, telecommunications, media, technology and retail. This gives us the opportunity to use a number of technologies, so we are able to offer a chance to develop a large number of professionals from different fields. We already have people working in Novi Sad and the fact that we now have a representative office in this city will make us physically closer to them. On the other hand, the new location will help us explore local opportunities and potentials and respond to the specifics of the market,” said Vladimir Sivacki, Head of Development in Endava Serbia.
With an employment strategy focused not only on the capital, but also on smaller cities that are large university centers, Endava has seen an increase in the number of IT professionals of various seniors at all locations in Serbia in the last year, and this trend continues.
Currently, jobs have been created for 20 different profiles in the field of software engineering – Java, C ++, Frontend, Mobile development, DevOps, Test and Data engineering, business analysis, project management and others.
Most employees work from home, and all activities related to recruitment, the process of introducing new employees to work and training take place exclusively online, Nova Ekonomija reports.
