Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Ambassador of Indonesia discuss cooperation between the two countries

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic met with Indonesia’s new ambassador to Serbia, Mohamad Chandra Vijay Judah, and discussed with him the possibilities of enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
“I welcome you to Serbia, I believe that during your term, we will improve the cooperation of our two countries, because there is room for that. Serbia has been intensively developing in recent years, our political and economic position is stable, we have completed major infrastructure projects and we are starting a new investment plan Serbia 2020-2025”, said Mihajlovic.
The Indonesian ambassador said that the country sees Serbia as an important partner, the statement said
“We are familiar with the 2020-2025 investment plan and would love to be part of your development. Our construction companies are interested in working in Serbia. Infrastructure is very important to us, given our master plan for building economic corridors. It is important that we bring together business people and businesses. In addition, we are very interested in cooperating in the field of agriculture”, said Judah.
The meeting also discussed co-operation in the field of air transport and expressed the willingness of both parties to prepare and sign an agreement in this area, given the increasing number of Serbian tourists visiting Indonesia, as well as the interest of companies to connect.
“Last year alone, the number of tourists from Serbia increased by 45 percent”, Judah said, RTV writes.
