The World Exhibition in Dubai is a great opportunity to dedicate time to new investors in order to further encourage investment, growth of our standard and manage to reach the desired average salary of 1,000 euros in the next five years, said Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Tomislav Momirovic at the Serbian pavilion, as part of the First Investment Conference in Dubai.
– Expo 2020 Dubai is a real opportunity to show the results in the previous period. Today, Serbia is a country where twice as many kilometers of highways are being built as in all the surrounding countries, and there are also investments in high-speed railways, railway reconstruction and port reconstruction. We have doubled the volume of construction in the previous five years – said Minister Momirovic.
At the First Investment Conference, Minister Tomislav Momirovic presented to potential investors the opportunities for investing in the real estate sector in Serbian cities, where there has been an expansion of construction and the real estate market in recent years.
Minister Momirovic pointed out that Serbia has doubled the scope of construction in the last five years and that we are proud to be among the ten countries in the world in terms of the speed of issuing construction permits. He added that Serbia is the first European country in terms of the number of kilometers of highways it is building, with historically high, even growth in all construction sub-sectors.
The Government of the Republic of Serbia has invested large funds in the construction of transport infrastructure in order to connect cities in Serbia and thus significantly contribute to the development of the real estate market in Belgrade and Novi Sad, as well as in Nis and Kragujevac, as well as in other Serbian cities. The pavilion of the Republic of Serbia at the World Exhibition in Dubai attracted a large number of visitors and investors around the world, Kurir reports.
