FIC supports improvement of business climate in Serbia

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic spoke today with representatives of the Foreign Investors Council (FIC) about the improvement of business climate in Serbia, more efficient implementation of the existing good legal solutions, and the participation of large companies, members of FIC, in the current privatisation process.

The meeting dealt with concrete problems the foreign investors encounter, first and foremost in the field of finance, agriculture and inspection services.

It was agreed to have better coordination in solving this problem, but also to improve legal solutions in order to better business climate in Serbia by adopting a series of new laws, such as a law on conversion, law on foreign exchange operations, law on inspection services etc.

The both sides in the talks agreed that legislation should be modified in the field of tax administration so that foreign investors could have better business conditions.

In order to achieve all the above mentioned, it is necessary to hold meetings of FIC representatives and all relevant ministers once a month.
