The Minister of Finance, Sinisa Mali, stated today that this year, for the first time in history, we will have a gross domestic product of more than 52 billion euros.
“More precisely, 52.4 billion euros, and in 2012 it was 33.7 billion, which means that in less than ten years we have created almost 20 billion euros of additional value, new values for our citizens and our children,” said Mali in the Serbian Parliament.
He added that after difficult reforms and years of fiscal consolidation, we are now in a situation where we are reducing the negative consequences of the coronavirus with a smart and responsible economic policy, and on the other hand we are entering a zone of high GDP growth.
“So, the best days and years are just ahead of us. That is why we are opening the topics of increasing salaries and pensions and new investments,” said Sinisa Mali, Politika reports.
