Galenika registered 4 new products in the region

In the first half of 2023, the pharmaceutical company Galenika records constant growth in all business segments, both in Serbia and in the international markets where it operates.

Since the beginning of the year, Galenika has registered as many as 47 new products in Serbia and the region, while 29 products have been put on the market. In Serbia, sales increased by 10%, and in countries in the region by as much as 14%.

In addition to countries in the region, the company operates in 16 international markets on three continents, while it increased exports to the EU market by 40%, where it launched 22 products.

Compared to the first half of last year, the production of Galenika products increased by 7%, while the company has as many as 37 brands in leading positions in their categories, by market share in Serbia in the first half of 2023.

With a strategic partnership with its sister company from Brazil – EMS, since the beginning of the year, Galenika has successfully implemented the transfer of technology for 6 products from the newer generation of generic drugs and started preparations for five more.

Bearing in mind the global circumstances that affect the pharmaceutical industry, Galenika invests significant efforts and successfully achieves the mission of producing and distributing its high-quality products in Serbia and on export markets.

Galenika, as part of the Brazilian NC Group, which operates globally, through cooperation with colleagues from Brazil, India and China, has advanced tools, information and opportunities that provide better insight into global events, which, together with the expertise of experts in Serbia and the region, contributes to business growth.

Sustainable business and environmental protection are high on the company’s agenda. In the first half of 2023, the internal goal was met and the amount of waste generation was reduced by 35%, as well as water consumption by five percent compared to the same period in 2022. A project was launched to completely renovate the existing internal water supply system, in which half a million euros will be invested, with the aim of ensuring maximum savings and minimal water loss.
