Host of this year’s Energy Week Western Balkans conference is Porto Montenegro

The most important investment conference on renewable energy sources in the Western Balkans – Energy Week Western Balkans 2023, will be held this year on 18th-19th of October, at the new location in Porto Montenegro.

Energy Week Western Balkans, organized by the British company Invest In Network, was held for the first time last year in Montenegro, after which it was immediately recognized as the most important event in the region. The conference brings together energy companies, representatives of authorities and state institutions from Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo, as well as international financial institutions and large multinational investors.

The Energy Week Western Balkans 2023 conference is perfectly positioned to encourage regional cooperation, as well as to support the transition to safe, clean and affordable energy. Utilizing the enormous potential of renewable energy, increasing interconnection and facilitating system flexibility and market liberalization are of most importance. Although investment in renewable energy in the region is increasing, cooperation and interconnection are key to achieving the set goals.

• Innovative opportunities being explored in the region, such as floating solar energy and agrivoltaism;
• Energy storage solutions and more.
