Metalac tops turnover list on Belgrade bourse, share indices end up

Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,605 Metalac shares changed hands in turnover of 4.9 million dinars. Metalac closed flat at 1,900 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 2.22% at 663.56 points.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers’ list as its share price rose 6.56% to 910 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 1.03% at 1,476.84.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 776.9 million dinars ($7.7 million/6.6 million euro) on Friday, up from 6.5 million dinars on Thursday, as 68 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 532,053 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 768.7 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Friday.
In the period between July 20 and 24, BELEX15 grew by 0.77% and BELEXline fell by 0.29%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market this week was 1.27 billion dinars, versus 606.5 million dinars last week.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 1.248 billion dinars to the total turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange this week, up from 586.7 million dinars last week.
