Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said today that negotiations were in progress with one of the biggest Japanese companies, Mitsubishi about potential investments in Serbia.

“A Mitsubishi delegation is waiting for me in my office,” Vucic said on TV Pink.

He didn’t want to disclose the details of the meeting with the Japanese delegation. “The agreement will not be signed today, but we have been working for a year on this,” Vucic added.

It will be disclosed in the next few days what exactly is Mitsubishi’s interest in Serbia and what are their plans here.

“From the state of bankruptcy, we have reached a positive balance. Some countries that are more economically developed than us do not have the benefits that we have and receive. The Serbian economy is flourishing and Serbia is moving ahead,” Aleksandar Vucic concluded.
