NIS tops turnover list on Belgrade bourse, share indices rise

Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 1,735 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 1.0 million dinars. NIS closed up 0.70% at 579 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 1.90% at 685.18 points.
Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] led the blue-chip gainers’ list as its share price rose 9.26% to 2,784 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.36% at 1,488.17.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 65.7 million dinars ($607,300/558,600 euro) on Wednesday, up from 20.4 million dinars on Tuesday, as 62 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 121,500 dinars, SeeNews reports.
