Paying taxes is the greatest patriotism, and the greatest obligation, Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic said Friday at a conference on curbing the grey economy.
It is important that we get people accustomed to collecting their fiscal receipts because every receipt means “another school for our children, another computer for our grandchildren,” Vucic said.
Vucic said that, as PM, he had never allowed anyone not to pay taxes.

“There have been no cases of senior government officials intervening to enable anyone not to pay taxes,” Vucic said.
The Tax Administration is now working without any political pressure in this regard, Vucic said, noting that no one could call him “to ask anything about taxes.”
