Serbian Prime Minster Ana Brnabic said that, in spite of the crisis due to the coronavirus and the war in Ukraine, Serbia continues to attract increasingly more foreign direct investments.
“It’s no coincidence, it is a result of hard work, constant reforms, constant changes, large investments in the field of digitization, which was once again this year recognized as the area in which we have achieved the most, the introduction of electronic administration, and all this so that we as the Government or as the public sector could operate toward you and our citizens much more efficiently and in a much more transparent way“, said Brnabic at the launch of the Foreign Investors Council White Book 2022.
When it comes to attracting foreign direct investments, Serbia had a record year in 2021, said the Prime Minister.
„At the beginning of October this year, we recorded a total net inflow of foreign direct investments of three billion and 110 million Euro, which is 0.3 percent more than in the same period last year. In addition to the fact that 2021 was a record year, we continued to grow in 2022 as well“, said Brnabic, N1 writes.
